hi everyone!! id like to bring your attention to this group of queer refugees located in a camp in Gorom, South Sudan.

i came in contact with Goret, one of the lesbians from the camp, and she told me about how terrible their situation at the moment is.

if short, they lack funds for meals, poor medication/shelter conditions/beddings.

they also face physical threats due to homophobia and some of the members already have been severely injured because of the attacks.

their campaign is getting barely any traction, so id love if you guys could share, donate, and talk about it. lets help Goret and her fellow camp members to raise funds for survival! even small donations of $5 will mean a lot!

they’re currently at $5 out of $4000 goal!

Goret’s blog where you can see more photos of their current situation - @goret97

here is their gofundme page w/ protected donations!

$578 USD has been raised, and the last donation was made a week ago! Please donate and share! The fundraiser provides aid and essentials for queer refugees!

We have 30 days until the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) laws are rescinded. This is the 50-year bedrock of American conservation. Normally, these actions take years but the administration has provided 30 days for public comment gutting clean water and clean air. Drop what you’re doing, before you make any more calls or read any more social media posts, please populate the Federal Register with dissent.

A. Go to https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2025/02/25/2025-03014/removal-of-national-environmental-policy-act-implementing-regulations

B. Click on the green rectangle in the upper right corner (“SUBMIT A PUBLIC COMMENT”) .

C. Fill in your comment, and info at the bottom, and SUBMIT COMMENT.

I just did that (2/27/2025), and the message on that website said:

The comment period ends March 27, not March 30!!!

I strongly suggest (in your own words) couching your dissent in Trump’s (and followers’) own rhetoric. Here’s what I said:

Removing these regulations will make America sick again, cause neurological and intellectual impairment in children (due to less regulation of lead), and raise the level of preventable cancers in adults (due to less regulation of known carcinogens),thus reducing American productivity and greatness.

The threat was loud and clear: Report your so-called “DEI” employees or else. What exactly “DEIA or similar ideologies” means is up in the air, but the message was out there. And so was the email address of the DEIA snitching hotline.

Fake emails quickly started to roll in. ‘I don’t care, fuck these McCarthyite bastards,” one BlueSky user said, with an screenshot attached of an email to the hotline where he ironically reported Donald Trump and JD Vance for being “put in their positions solely because of their race and/or gender despite the fact that they are wholly unqualified for their jobs and, in some cases, have criminal records.”

“Anyone have a script to fire off a billion e-mails an hour??” another user asked in the replies.

“Anyone can email anything of any size even if it crashes the site,” one X user noted.

The scope and effectiveness of this latest phase of Trump’s anti-DEI crusade remains to be seen.

FLOOD THIS :D

MAKE IT UTTERLY UNUSABLE :D

The email is DEIAtruth@opm.gov btw

Don’t just spam it today. Keep spamming it until they shut it down. Spam it for weeks, months, however long it takes. Queue this post to reblog periodically to remind other people. Set reminders on your phone or calendar to send Trump bullshit. Treat this like a challenge and win it

Don’t let the momentum die down. Don’t allow the tipline to become useable in a few weeks when this post stops spreading. Don’t allow them to harm vulnerable people on your watch

… and since it’s email… that means *anyone* from *anywhere* can send in stuff.

[Emergency Water Relief for Gaza City – Help Deliver Life-Saving Water

In Gaza City, clean drinking water is dangerously scarce. Families are struggling to find safe water for drinking, cooking, and basic survival. With infrastructure devastated and water sources contaminated, the need for urgent relief is critical.

We are launching a three-month emergency water distribution project to deliver clean water directly to those most in need. Two water trucks will distribute 10,000 liters per day to communities facing extreme shortages. Our goal is to ensure that families, children, and the elderly have access to safe drinking water during this crisis.

How You Can Help

We have budgeted $50,000 to sustain this project for three months. Each truckload of 5,000 liters costs roughly $300 per truck. That means:

💧 $30 provides 500 liters of clean water

💧 $150 provides 2,500 liters – enough for dozens of families

💧 $300 funds an entire truckload of 5,000 liters

💧 $600 ensures a full day of water distribution (10,000 liters)

Every dollar makes a difference. Your donation will help us reach thousands of people in Gaza City with clean, safe drinking water]

Please donate if you can!!!
